Since announcing MotionXY, the number one question we receive is: "When is it coming to Android?"
Today, we want to share an update on our roadmap, the challenges we are solving, and what you can expect in the coming months.
The Challenge: Hardware Consistency
On iOS, we optimize our computer vision models specifically for Apple's Neural Engine. This allows us to track 18 key skeletal joints at 60 frames per second with minimal battery drain.
The Android ecosystem is vast. To deliver the same "Elite Video Analysis" experience, we cannot simply port the code. We need to ensure that the tracking is precise whether you are using a Samsung Galaxy, a Google Pixel, or the latest Xiaomi device.
Optimizing for Snapdragon, Exynos and Tensor
Our engineering team has been working closely with the latest NPU's (Neural Processing Unit) architectures available on the market. We are rebuilding our FLYBALL AI AUTO-TRACKING™ engine to leverage these processors efficiently.
Initial development and benchmarks are promising. As development continues we will update our blog with the latest progress.
Roadmap & Beta Access
We are prioritizing quality over speed. We will not release a version of MotionXY that feels like a "lite" version of the iOS app unlike competitors.
Current Timeline:
- Q3 2026: Internal Alpha testing on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices.
- Q4 2026: Closed Beta for existing Coach Plan and Team Plan subscribers.
- Early 2027: Public Android Launch.
